This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of an online communication platform in a flipped
 learning-based, customized modular EPL programming course. To this end, a flipped learning-based
 EPL programming course model utilizing an online communication platform was developed, along
 with preparatory EPL learning module video lectures and materials. Following the application of this
 model to actual classes, its effectiveness was assessed through various methods. The research
 findings are summarized as follows:
 First, the experimental group showed a positive perception of programming education in the
 programming education perception test, with the applied teaching method contributing to this
 positive perception. Learners exhibited positive changes in their sense of achievement, value
 recognition, and continued interest in programming. Moreover, they perceived the effectiveness of
 flipped learning and online communication positively.
 Second, in the programming difficulty perception test, the teaching method applied to the
 experimental group did not significantly influence the perception of difficulty in programming.
 Learners reported difficulties in various aspects of programming (such as problem analysis,
 abstraction, coding, and debugging), which appeared to correlate with the frequency of practical
 exercises and the level of self-directed activities.
 Third, in the evaluation of the project assignments, the experimental group scored higher than the
 comparison group, indicating that the teaching method applied to the experimental group positively
 influenced learners' programming capabilities. The project assignments, involving practical exercises,
 played an essential role in enhancing creativity and problem-solving skills.
 Fourth, an analysis of students' reflections indicated that flipped learning increased self-directed
 learning and responsibility. The online communication platform motivated learning, enhanced
 participation, and promoted interaction and collaboration. However, some students pointed out that
 online communication tended to become overly formulaic and mechanical, potentially undermining
 the authenticity and significance of communication.

Innovative Application of Teaching Methods in Higher Vocational Physical Education

 With the continuous development of society, the education of Higher Vocational Colleges in China has been greatly reformed. Students in higher vocational colleges have greater learning pressure, which will have a great impact on students' learning. Therefore, in order to improve students' mental health, we also need to improve physical education curriculum in the development of higher vocational colleges to enrich students and to improve the mental health of students. The physical education teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges undertakes the students of preliminary education and sports theoretical knowledge, so the teaching structure has certain complexity. Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School is one of the famous Islamic boarding schools located in Lamongan district. As an Islamic boarding school that has thousands of students, Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat continues to strive to improve the quality of the students. Various activities are carried out to produce quality and competitive Islamic boarding school graduates. One of the superior programs at the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School is the provision of an English language dormitory to support students in improving their foreign language skills. In the process of implementing English language learning activities for students, tutors often face various problems. One of the problems that often occurs is that students often appear unenthusiastic and less active in practicing speaking during the classroom learning process. This causes confusion among tutors about what methods are effective to apply in order to make all students in the class more active to speak English. With the aim of providing a reference to the tutors regarding a method that can be applied to encourage students to actively speak in class as a form of problem solving, coaching was held for the tutors regarding the application of teaching methods whose effectiveness has been proven for speaking skill in many previous studies, namely "Pair Work" method. This coaching activity is carried out by providing detailed explanations regarding the systematic application of the "Pair Work" method according to various topics that will be used by the tutors to teach the students. Direct control of the class was also carried out to find out the extent of changes that occurred after the tutors applied the "Pair Work" method in class.

Teaching Mathematics at Upper Secondary School in the Digital Age: A Case Study in Cambodia

The research showed (1) Necessity, (2) Challenges, and (3) Solutions in teaching mathematics. At the same time, teachers, learners, and stakeholders were encouraged to develop soft skills and hard skills that intervened positively to ensure the quality of education in line with regional and global educational trends to achieve the goal of education for all in the new millennium. However, surveys clearly show that limited digital technology and inadequate digital materials were at the root of the problems. Practical observations provided a fair number of results and some points showed the relationship between the quality of teaching and learning in supportive strategies. The research questions were: (1) What are the requirements for teaching mathematics at the high school in the digital age? (2) What are the challenges of implementation of mathematics teaching at the high school in the digital age? (3) What are the solutions for teaching mathematics at the high school? The research methods through quantitative data were collected from principals, deputy principals, deputy directors, technical team leaders, mathematics teachers, and high school students through questionnaires in Khmer language to investigate the link between teaching management and mathematics learning where N (principals, teachers, students) = N (90,158,933). The results of the analysis on ( ) 1 2 3 x =2.96 , x =3.26 , x =3.32 and F(2 , 36) = 8.534, p < 0.05 showed that the conceptual framework expressions for the three independent variables were quite different and teaching mathematics was challenging more than solutions and needs which were lower than finding solutions. In this sense, teaching materials and teaching talent were the main keys to improving the quality of education while the situation was not good; it was unsuccessful because the support or implementation of information and communication technology and technology was still limited and the use of teaching strategies showed positive and negative effects as arguments for further study on the application of teaching methods.

The Use of Self-Assessment in Improving Pre-Service Teachers’ Professional Development

The use of self-assessment in teacher training has been strongly suggested by researchers because these assessment tasks activate students, motivate them to participate in learning, and cause more oriented and effective learning. This study focuses on using self-assessment in teacher education for the purpose of exploring the benefits of self-assessment practices for the pre-service teachers’ learning process and their professional development. Thirty-eight pre-service teachers participated in this study. Within the context of the study, every participant was supposed to perform a teaching practice by applying teaching methods. Pre-service teachers’ assessed their own performances through a self-assessment form composed of two parts. The first part of this form includes a criteria-based scoring matrix, and the second part includes open-ended written questions. Analyses of the data showed that pre-service teachers perceive themselves as worst at ‘efficient teaching practice’ and best at ‘using body language and gesture effectively’ among the given criteria. When the data obtained from the written questions was analyzed, it was concluded that the pre-service teachers had the most difficulty following the teaching plan. According to the results, it can be argued that by using the self-assessment tasks, pre-service teachers realized their strengths and weaknesses; they recognized that they have difficulties with some competencies required for effective teaching and what they need to improve themselves.

Analysis of Vocational Learning in Business Management Program Regarding The Requirements of work Competencies in Business and Industry Sector

The current era of global economic integration undoubtedly brings consequences among the involved nations. The rapid advancements of technology pose challenges for education systems to produce Human Resources (HR) capable of global engagement. Polytechnic State of Manado, as a vocational educational institution tasked with producing educated labor with global competence aligned with the needs of the business and industrial, continuously evaluates and enhances the educational processes to adapt to the dynamic industrial landscape. The analysis conducted should focus on aligning the knowledge and skills taught with the facilities available, such as the Investment Gallery Lab, Computer Lab, and Entrepreneurship Lab, to support appropriate learning implementation. Additionally, the application of teaching methods should encourage students to actively engage in the learning process. The research focus is the analysis of the learning implementation that supports achieving graduate competencies required by the industry and business world. IMPLICATIONS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE OF IBNU KHALDUN IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Education is the most important element in human life because education has the aim of making future generations superior and competitive. The application of the concept of Islamic education philosophy in education aims to make an ideal and structured education to achieve learning objectives. Several concepts of Islamic education philosophy have been developed by scholars, one of which was the concept that Ibn Khaldun coined. This study aims to determine the implementation and influence of Islamic education philosophy according to Ibnu Khaldun at Khairunnas Elementary School Surabaya. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a descriptive qualitative approach. This type of research in this analysis uses field studies. The results of this study state that the Khairunnas Elementary School Surabaya has implemented the concept of Islamic education philosophy from Ibn Khaldun's perspective. It can be seen by applying Ibn Khaldun's four concepts: curriculum, educators, students, and teaching methods. Applying these four concepts can have a good influence on all elements of education at Khairunnas Surabaya Elementary School, both from the elements of the curriculum, educators, students, and the application of teaching methods.

Application of teaching methods and tools in "Linguistic study" classes (german language) in the training of students of the specialty "Business communications and translation"

During the training of highly qualified specialists of the "Business Communications and Translation" program, the course "Linguistic Studies (in German) is studied. In this course, teaching methods and tools are widely used to ensure perception and consolidation with the help of feedback and self-control and taking into account the individual capabilities of students of authentic material of a country science nature. The aforementioned discipline contributes to the formation of communicative and translation competence for effective communication, as well as adequate translation and mutual understanding. Thus, in classes, those methods and teaching tools are widely used, which provide an opportunity to improve students' communication skills in combination with grammar skills.
 In our study, the methods and means of education are considered through the prism of training students – future translators. This makes it possible to prepare qualified and competitive translators for work on the world market of labour and services with appropriate interdisciplinary coordination of all cycles of humanitarian and specialized educational disciplines. It is a well-known fact, that perfect command of a foreign language involves not only the knowledge and ability of students to correctly use lexical units in combination with grammatical constructions at the level necessary for oral and written communication. In the educational process, students learn to perceive information of authentic content by ear and improve their reproduction skills. In practical classes, future specialists learn to model professional situations in German in order to prepare for foreign language professional communication, as well as when writing business letters, drawing up annotations, able to conduct dialog-conversation, presentation-advertising and presentation-report.
 When training future translators, it is essential to evaluate the achievements of the culture of native speakers in German-speaking countries, to understand its essence, meaning and role for humanity. The fact of awareness of the importance of using information and computer technologies in order to improve professional activity is integral. It is also worth paying attention to the personal traits of the communicator - the future translator: features of the use of oratory, sociability, self-development skills and self-evaluation in certain professional and communicative situations. Such methods as "Brain-ring", press conference, round aquarium, simulation games, game design, trainings, creation of a situation of success, etc. contribute to this. Revitalizing Civic Education in Higher Education : Student Perspectives, Identity, and Reconstruction Strategies

This study aims to analyze student perceptions regarding civic education learning in tertiary institutions, student perceptions regarding their national identity as Indonesians, and considerations needed for the reconstruction of civic education in Higher Education. This study used a mixed method with a sequential exploratory approach. Data was collected through surveys and interviews. A total of 160 respondents were involved in the survey. Interviews were conducted with 3 senior lecturers who teach Civic Education courses at State Universities in Bandung. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and verification through Structural Equation Modeling methods and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The study results showed that the teaching of Civic Education must be able to build student interest through the application of teaching methods that are appropriate, creative, contextual, and in accordance with student needs. Civic Education learning must also be able to strengthen students’ awareness of the importance of national identity to prevent them from attitudes and behaviors inconsistent with the nation’s noble values. Civic education reconstruction efforts must be based on real problems faced by lecturers and students in Civic Education learning, especially by considering the clarity of goals, the focus of change, the challenges of citizenship in the global era, and the concrete situations that are developing in society. This study is needed to provide an appropriate basis for the formulation and implementation of the reconstruction of civic education to strengthen the Indonesian nation’s national identity.

An activity-based approach for the early identification and resolution of problems in the development of IoT systems in academic projects

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) systems in university courses encourages students to use multiple skills. Hence, the importance of applying teaching methods like Project Based Learning (PBL) in the development of these kinds of systems for integrating hardware and software components while facing numerous real-life problems. This study presents an activity-based Approach for the Early Identification and Resolution of problems, in a checklist format, to be used by students for preventing them from wasting time in IoT academic projects. The checklist is based on an adapted taxonomy of problems in IoT systems. This study analyzed problems identified in 48 projects carried out by 183 engineering students registered in two courses in 2020 and 2021. For designing the structured checklist, we categorized 14 types of IoT problems, analyzed root causes and solutions, and created and evaluated a taxonomy of problems.

The Challenges of Teaching Islamic Education In the Millennial Generation Era

This article discusses the issues of Islamic religious education learning in the millennial era, focusing on teachers, teaching methods, learning media, and students' interest in learning. The research was conducted in a high school in the Pasangkayu district. The research utilized a qualitative method with data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that implementing Islamic religious education learning in the millennial generation begins with preparing teaching tools. However, the application of teaching methods and the utilization of educational technology still need more improvement. The issues of Islamic religious education learning in the millennial generation in high school include internal and external problems. Internal problems include the teachers' need for more ability to deliver the lessons and utilize educational technology. Islamic religious teachers must be role models for students regarding responsibility, low interest, and learning motivation. External problems include the influence of scientific and technological advancements in communication and the impact of social environments. The solutions to these learning problems involve Islamic religious teachers improving the learning process, providing learning aids, and mastering educational technology. Additionally, teachers engage in discussions with various stakeholders at the school to address the learning issues.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Inggris Siswa

The problem of this study is the teaching method application that seems conventional or traditional, resulting that student learning outcomes in English language learning is low. The problem statement in this research is how the implementation of the Think Talk Write learning model can improve English language learning outcomes for XI grade students at SMK LPP UMI Makassar. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of applying the Think Talk Write learning model in improving English language learning outcomes for students at SMK LPP UMI Makassar. The type of research is classroom action research conducted in three stages: the thinking stage, the talking stage, and the writing stage. The thinking stage involves students in thinking about topics or questions related to the English language. The talking stage involves students in group discussions or pair discussions to share their thoughts. The writing stage involves students in writing about the topics they have thought about and discussed earlier. The subjects of this research are 20 students from SMK LPP UMI Makassar, consisting of 11 males and 9 females. Data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis method. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Think-Talk-Write learning model can improve students' English language learning achievement through strengthening understanding, improving speaking skills, and developing writing skills. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Think Talk Write learning model can improve learning outcomes for students at SMK LPP UMI Makassar in the subject of English language.

INTERCULTURAL STEREOTYPES AND THE ROLE OF CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING IN OVERCOMING THEM

Intercultural stereotypes often lead to misunderstandings or even cultural conflicts in communication, as they interfere with the rational assessment of individuals from one national culture and the products, perspectives and practices associated with them. Although there is a considerable literature on stereotypes in general and on intercultural stereotypes in particular, there is clearly insufficient scholarly works to provide concrete and conceptual insights into how to minimise or overcome stereotypical attitudes in practice. For example, the role of critical and creative thinking in the process of devisualisation of stereotypes has not been adequately assessed in the academic literature. Researchers have so far paid little attention for it in their works. This work aims to fill the aforementioned gaps in the scientific discourse. The object of this article is intercultural stereotypes in the context of the link between critical and creative thinking. The aim of the article is to analyse the theoretical aspects of intercultural stereotypes and the role of critical and creative thinking in overcoming them. The work first analyses the theoretical aspects of stereotypes in the context of intercultural communication, and then examines the nuances of the role of critical and creative thinking in overcoming intercultural stereotypes. The role of critical and creative thinking in the process of overcoming intercultural stereotypes is explored by discussing the link between critical and creative thinking, as well as the importance of the application of teaching methods for critical and creative thinking skills in the process of devisualisation of stereotypes. The following research methods are used in order to implement the aim of the article: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature.

MANAGING THE TEACHING COMPETENCE OF PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS AT ILOCOS SUR POLYTECHNIC STATE COLLEGE, PHILIPPINES

There is little investigation on the exposure of non-education part-time instructors to pedagogical experience in higher education and on practical support and opportunities for their professional development. This study examined the non-education part-time instructors’ level of competence in teaching tasks through the quantitative approach employing the descriptive-correlative design. The result showed that although there was a high competence in instructional preparation among the non-education part-time instructors, it found that there was moderate competence in constructing learning outcomes and in integrating them with learning activities. Similarly, the respondents also acquired a high level of competence in instructional delivery but showed a lower rating in the appropriate application of teaching methods during instruction. Although a very high competence in psychosocial support was recorded, results showed that their level of competence in assessment and feedback was high.  Still, they were found moderately competent in employing various assessment techniques. In correlating these variables with the respondents’ profiles, the four areas of teaching tasks were significantly associated with formal training, and educational attainment was significantly correlated to instructional delivery. It concluded that there is a need to provide a support mechanism through the adoption of the expanded program for non-education part-time instructors.
  

MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA DAN MENULIS PERMULAAN MELALUAI KEGIATAN LITERASI DENGAN MEDIA BUKU ANAK DI TKIT BINA PRESTASI

Departing from the author's anxiety in addressing whether or not teaching reading and writing is applied to early childhood at the kindergarten level and the way teachers apply teaching methods to read and write to early childhood, the authors conducted classroom action research at TKIT Bina Prestasi, Tangerang City in 2022/23 school year. This study aims to improve initial reading and writing skills through literacy activities using children's book media at TKIT Bina Prestasi, Periuk, Tangerang city, in the 2022/23 academic year. This research is class action research or PTK. The subjects in this study were group B children of TKIT Bina Prestasi, Periuk, Tangerang City, with a total of 7 children consisting of 4 boys and 3 girls. The object of this research was the ability to read and write beginning through literacy activities using children's book media. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, with research instruments using observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentages in three phases, namely the stage before corrective action (pre-cycle), and after the action from Cycle I to Cycle II where cycles I and II are carried out within 5 days each. The results of the study showed that the initial reading and writing skills through literacy activities using children's book media in group B at TKIT Bina Prestasi could be carried out very well. This can be proven by an increase in the completeness and enthusiasm of children's learning, from pre-action to cycle II, where the results of the pre-action reading reached 32.1% and 35.7% writing, the results of the first cycle the average reading ability reached 49.6%. and writing 48.9% and an average performance of 52.2%, the results of cycle II average reading ability reached 77.5% and 77.2% writing and an average performance of 79.7%. The research was stopped until cycle II because it had fulfilled the success indicators and the children's learning completeness had increased very satisfactorily

성인학습자의 블렌디드러닝 기반 혁신교수법 적용 수업경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational experiences of adult learners who participated in the blended learning-based innovative teaching method application class from a narrative perspective and derive meaningful implications for adult-friendly education. This study conducted in-depth interviews with 5 participants in the blended learning-based innovative teaching class among adult learners at C University, and analyzed the educational experiences of adult learners in blended learning-based innovative class by applying narrative inquiry.
 As a result of the analysis, adult learners who participated in the blended learning-based innovative class felt fresh about the instructor's new teaching method, and grew through the experience of acknowledging each other's differences and expanding communication and cooperation. Regarding participation in online classes, participants overcame the fear of online learning through the consideration of the instructor and keep up learning. In addition, while experiencing practical-oriented living education both online and offline, meaningful changes and growth were experienced. These results suggest that education for adult learners requires various types of instructional design and application in a direction that considers individual differences but can continue without giving up learning. Based on these results, implications for the direction of adult-friendly education were derived.

Strategies of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Improving PAI Learning Achievement at SMK Mathla'ul Anwar Buaranjati

The purpose of this research is to: (1) A PAI teacher finds strategies to improve her PAI learning performance in college. (2) At SMK Mathla`ul Anwar Buaranjati he finds ways for a PAI teacher to improve her PAI learning outcomes. (3) At SMK Mathla'ul Anwar Buaranjati he finds out what media a PAI teacher plans to improve her PAI learning success. The focus of this research is: (1) What were her PAI teacher's strategies for improving her PAI learning performance at SMK?(2) How did the PAI teacher assess her PAI learning success at SMK Mathla'ul Anwar Buaranjati? can it be improved? (3) What plans do PAI teachers have to improve PAI's learning performance in SMK Mathla'ul Anwar Buaranjati? It's a thing. The presence of researchers in this field is an important tool for data collection. The primary data sources for this survey are PAI teachers, principals, and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and inference. Data validation for this study used triangulation. The results of this study indicate that focus has been achieved. Teachers design activity programs, prepare learning components, modify learning and deliver modules. A second focus is on teachers observing students, paying attention to their learning patterns, and applying teaching methods. A third focus is on teachers using appropriate learning tools to facilitate learning such as syllabuses, lessons, prota, promissory notes, absence diaries, journals, assessments, question banks and media.

With the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation into our country in 2014, the higher military leadership of the state began to pay much more attention to the issue of studying and bringing combat experience to subordinate units. This was reflected in a significant number of doctrines, guidelines, instructions, etc. Along with this, the higher military educational institutions of the National Guard of Ukraine lack a clear technology for studying and introducing combat experience into the educational process. Therefore, there was a need to create a technology for studying and introducing combat experience into the educational process of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. According to the authors, the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine should offer a technology for the study and implementation of combat experience in the educational process when studying combined military disciplines. The article offers a rationale for the study technology and implementation of combat experience in the educational process of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. After all, the systematization of this process makes it possible to better organize the educational process. In turn, the training of cadets based on the combat experience of military units and units of the National Guard of Ukraine increases their professional level as a future commander. Pedagogical technology is represented by the following stages: theoretical substantiation, development of technological procedures, application of teaching methods, substantiation of structural components, criteria and indicators, determination of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the technology, effectiveness. To visualize the process, a model of the implementation of the technology of studying and introducing combat experience into the educational process of NSU has been developed. According to the authors, the implementation of this technology will make it possible to quickly respond to today's requirements during the educational process, which in turn makes it possible to solve a set of tasks for the education of a comprehensively and harmoniously developed personality with a high level of professional skills.

Exploration and application of ecological classroom teaching method in clinical practice teaching

The ecological method is introduced into the clinical practice teaching of medical students. The theoretical basis of ecological classroom teaching method in clinical practice teaching is studied, and the problems generated in the practical application of ecological classroom are discussed to promote the application of the teaching method in clinical practice teaching. Teachers and students form ecological consciousness, take the classroom as the interaction of various ecological factors in the ecosphere, achieve the overall ecological balance, and finally improve students' ability to use knowledge to solve practical clinical problems.

Обоснование необходимости внедрения интерактивных кейсов в практику обучения менеджеров

The main purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to change the concept of training managers. On the basis of practical experience, the difficulties that arise when mastering the skills necessary for future professional activity are formulated. The limitations of the applied teaching methods are revealed: cases, business games, discussions and internships. The essence of the new teaching methodology "interactive case" is determined, its technology is described. A demonstration of an example of using an interactive case in the practical work of a teacher is given. The project is implemented by the winner of Master's Program Faculty Grant Competition of the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program.
